MEETING OF MASTERS

7 February - 4 March 2025
Overview

"To finish a work? To finish a picture? What nonsense! To finish it means to be through with it, to kill it, to rid it of its soul, to give it its final blow the coup de grace for the painter as well as for the picture." – Pablo Picasso

Arton Contemporary is pleased to present a selection of works by the masters: Damien Hirst, Hunt Slonem, and Pablo Picasso. Each of these artists offer a unique perspective on the concept of icons and ideals. We invite you to join us in celebrating the creative perspectives of these artists, whose works continue to impact audiences. Slonem's playful bunnies, shimmering with diamond dust, immediately captivate a viewer’s eye. Hirst's bold colors and intricate patterns create dynamic symphonies of hue, line, and texture. Picasso’s masterful etchings of human figures and flowers tell stories with remarkable depth and precision.

This collection features both original works and prints, offering a rare opportunity to experience the genius of these influential artists side by side. Though each artist approaches their craft in distinct ways, they all explore systems of abstraction and representation, ultimately creating a compelling dialogue about how we perceive and categorize the world around us.
